In 1926, the younger Fuchs sold the business to Oscar Hildebrant and in 1941, it changed hands again when Harry Minshall purchased the business. Minshall sold the furniture store to Arthur Swanson in 1947, but retained the funeral home, which he continued to operate for decades. Olsen also added a thank-you to all the community of Jefferson for the opportunity he and his father had to serve so many local families over the years. But most important will be the personal relationships he forms with community members in the course of his profession. The Gibsons plan to be move to Jefferson as soon as the remodeling is done.

Fuchs started a furniture store and undertaking business. “We are so impressed with the Gibsons and so excited to transfer our business to them,” David Olsen said.
